IP Anonymization for Universal Analytics

In light with the new GDPR protocol, it is now possible to instruct Google to anonymize the IP address for all hits sent from a single tracker in your Analytics data.

To do so, all you need to enable the relevant option in your Webstore Manager as shown in the figure below:

When enabled, the following command is sent alongside all your Analytics request:

ga('set', 'anonymizeIp', true);

This feature is currently only available to Google Universal Analytics customers and is served from our Alpha/Beta/Early Adopters branches.
