I'm moving to a new computer -- how do I move NitroSell's Software?

Aside from the field mappings and the image profiles, all the data is stored in the RMS database. Therefore, once you’ve restored your RMS database to your new computer, you should re-install the NSc software there as well, then copy your customized data to the same location on your new computer, as follows:
If you have field mappings or image profiles that you’d like to preserve, you should copy the NSc Sync data folder so files from C:\Program Files\NitroSell\NSc Sync\Data on your old PC will need to be copied to the equivalent location on your your new PC.

where C is the drive on which NSc Sync is installed.

If you have added fields using PAM or have picklists:
Files from C:\Program Files\NitroSell\NSc PAM - RMS\Data will need to be copied to the equivalent location on your your new PC.

if you’ve created custom XML templates for email after orders are processed or cancelled, then
files from C:\Program Files\NitroSell\NSc Sync\Data\Mail Templates on your old PC will need to be copied to the equivalent location on your your new PC.
copy them from the following location:
C:\Program Files\NitroSellNSc Mail\xml

Note for moving from x86 to 64 bit Machine

When you move from an x86 machine to a 64 bit machine the directory name for RMS will be changed from
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Retail Management System\
to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Retail Management System\

Any directory names in tables.xml will have to be changed accordingly
e.g.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\Pictures\

Please Note: If User Access Control is turned on files will be in a different location
If you have User Access Control turned on it’s best to contact Nitrosell Support to ensure a successful migration. If you need to edit .ini and other NitroSell eCommerce control files, please note that such files may be stored in two places. The original file, as installed by NitroSell, is in the C:\Program Files\NitroSell.… path.

However, if User Access Control is turned on then a second copy of the file will be found in Vista’s virtual store, for example, C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\NitroSell… If this second copy exists, it overrides the original settings file. Therefore, if you change the original file only, your changes will not take effect.
